The Cinématographe Lumière - The first public paying screening
In 1895, on December the 28th takes place the first public paying screening of the Cinématographe Lumière,in the Indian lounge of the Grand Café in Paris. Here are ten digitized films who composed the First screening.

The restoring has been realised by the French Film Archives between 1992 and 1995 on the occasion of the Film Centenary in 1995.
